What is IFSA?
IFSA is short for International Forestry Students’ Association. This organisation offers forestry students from all over the world the opportunity to learn more about forestry in other countries and make new aquaintances all over the world.
IFSA is an association of independent committees of forestry students in 54 countries.

Who are we?
The Local Committee (LC) at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna was reactivated by a few bachelor students of forestry in the spring of 2011 and has 39 members at the moment (2015).

Members of the LC have been participating sucessfully in various national and international events.

In April 2013 LC BOKU organised the Southern European Regional Meeting (SERM) together with the LC Hungary.

We are very proud of the involvement of IFSA BOKU in IFSA World. Currently two members of LC BOKU are holding official positions in IFSA World.
